Selena Gomez may have a crush on Shia LaBeouf, but he’s a big fan of her boyfriend, Justin Bieber.
“I met him at the MTV Awards. He rolls with a huge squad,” the Transformers 3 star said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday night. “He has a presence like Buddha, like a young prince.”

“I went up to him, I wanted to say hi,” continued LaBeouf. “Security was ready to take me down. Bieber does this two-finger wave thing like, ‘He’s OK.”
“It was very cool to me. Super cool! Bieber is the bomb!” LaBeouf joked. “He’s like a 16-year-old Frank Sinatra. He has so much presence.”

Still, he called Gomez — who freaked out when she met him earlier this week because she has such a crush on him — a “very pretty girl, a cool person.”
LaBeouf also joked about Transformers with Kimmel, who recalled that the first time LaBeouf was on the show, he “was telling us the movie you were promoting is crap.”
“Well, nothing’s changed! It’s still…” joked LaBeouf — who was recently admonished by Harrison Ford for criticizing Indiana Jones.
‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon:’ What Critics Say
Kimmel jokingly asked how he was doing now that his movie “made enough money to wipe out the national debt.” At just over $37 million, it had the largest opening day gross of 2011.
LaBeouf said his family attended the premiere — except for his dad. “He was like, ‘Are you going to do SNL this time?’ No. He’s like, ‘I’m not coming!'” he laughed.
Meanwhile, his Transformers 3 co-star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley appeared on Chelsea Lately Thursday. Chelsea Handler, who beat Conan O’Brien in Q2 demo ratings, asked her if it was “tough not to have sex” with LaBeouf — who recently admitted he’d bedded Megan Fox during the prior movies.
“I really had to tie myself in my trailer, really had to restrain myself,”Huntington-Whiteley joked. “Seven months of shooting…had to wear a chastity belt.”
“It is very difficult for any women to keep her hands off her shorter co-star,” Handler deadpanned.
