Shine America Adds Two Vice Presidents

Shine America is building its team with two new executives. The studio announced Monday that Robin Feinberg and Rachel Dax are joining as vice president of programming and production, respectively.

Feinberg, a veteran showrunner and director, most recently worked on Shine property The Face, and Dax (America’s Got Talent) comes to Shine after serving as head of production for High Noon Entertainment’s west coast operations. Shine has been on a hiring spree of late, nabbing new executives in research, marketing and legal in the last two months

“Robin is a tremendous addition to the Shine America team,” said programming executive vp Paul Franklin, to whom Feinberg will report. “She brings a wealth of experience as both a director and a producer of top unscripted TV series and she will play a key role for us going forward.”

“I am thrilled to be joining such a talented team here at Shine America,” said Feinberg. “It is such an exciting time as the company continues to expand its unscripted slate with shows covering so many different genres. I look forward to being part of a company that produces quality shows with compelling stories.”

Dax will report to executive vp and head of production Linda Giambrone. “Rachel brings an extraordinary amount of production experience with her,” said Giambrone, “and she will be a great asset to our existing team here at Shine America.”

 “I had heard great things about the company from within the industry and now I am truly looking forward to joining such a talented team,” added Dax. “There’s nothing better than working with creative minds in a collaborative atmosphere.”
