Aggressive in its pursuit to up news and documentary programming, Showtime has ordered a second season of Dark Net.
The docuseries, which just wrapped its first season of exposing the more unseemly aspects of the Internet and technology, is set to return, joining an unscripted lineup that already consists of The Circus: Inside the Greatest Political Show on Earth and, of course, Gigolos.
Dark Net‘s first season consisted of eight half-hour episodes and hailed from technology company Voactiv. It focuses on the deep web, where criminal activity runs rampant.
The entire first season of Dark Net is currently streaming on the network’s On Demand platform and over-the-top service.
