Sky in the U.K. will get an exclusive weekly highlights series of The Late Late Show With James Corden under a licensing deal with CBS Studios International.
The one-hour show will air each Tuesday on flagship network Sky One, beginning in early March.
Produced by CBS Television Studios and Fulwell 73, the new program will bring together the best parts of the week from the late-night talk show, including interviews with celebrity guests, musical acts, games, sketches and popular viral segments “Carpool Karaoke,” “Drop the Mic” and “Crosswalk the Musical.”
The agreement includes access for subscribers of Sky TV and Sky’s Now TV streaming service to full episodes of The Late Late Show on demand, one day after it airs in the U.S. Financial details weren’t disclosed.
“The Late Late Show With James Corden has redefined late-night television, producing incredible broadcast and social content that have helped turn the series into a global success,” said Stephen Tague, executive vp, Europe, CBS Studios International. “This agreement builds on our terrific partnership with Sky, bringing the best of CBS content to U.K. audiences.”
“We are delighted to be able to make a ‘best of week’ highlights show for the U.K. and continue our great relationship with Sky,” said Ben Winston, executive producer of The Late Late Show and co-director of production company Fulwell 73.
