When Saturday Night Live lined up New York Giants player Eli Manning to host the NBC sketch show this weekend, there may have been some doubts about his acting chops.

Well, NBC released a new promo featuring its upcoming host and it doesn’t exactly put those worries to bed. Bright side? Clearly, it shows he’s up for anything and he’s going to try really, really hard.
The new promo features cast members Jason Sudeikis and Kenan Thompson putting Manning through his paces. There’s a spoof on The Voice, an attempt at tackling the NFL player, some quizzing and a fairly good example of Manning’s throwing arm – in case making it to the Super Bowl wasn’t enough proof for you.
