Fallon explained that a player would press a button to activate the musical impressions generator at the beginning of each round. The generator randomly selected a singer and a song. The player then had to perform the tune with an impersonation of the randomly selected singer.
“I don’t know if I can top these,” Fallon said as he prepared to take his turn. The host was then challenged to perform a rendition of “The Itsy Bitsy Spider” with a Post Malone impression. “I need tattoos. I need a grill,” Fallon said before beginning the performance. He requested that his microphone be equipped with Auto-Tune before he began the rendition of “Itsy Bitsy Spider” to the tune of Malone’s “Psycho.”
For her next turn, Villasenor performed “When You Wish Upon a Star” as Christina Aguilera. She began the performance by belting, “Oh yeah!” before inserting a number of high notes into the classic Disney song.
After hitting the musical impression generator, Fallon was informed that he must perform “Rain, Rain Go Away” with a Barry Gibb impression. The host began the impersonation of the former Bee Gees member by bouncing up and down and inserting high notes into his performance, adding the line, “I’ll pull down your underwear.”
Villasenor concluded the game with an impression of Bjork performing “Rock-a-Bye Baby.” After the generator revealed the song and singer, Fallon responded, “The world has always wanted to hear this.”
The comedian began the performance by grabbing onto the microphone and making small hand gestures that remained close to her body. Villasenor used a slight Icelandic accent to get into character as the singer.
