Jenni “JWOWW” Farley may joke about wanting an “enormous” engagement ring, but that doesn’t mean she’s in any hurry to waltz down the aisle.
With her co-star and best friend Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi preparing to welcome her first child with fiancé Jionni LaValle, JWOWW told The Hollywood Reporter that she and boyfriend Roger Mathews hope to take a different route for their future family.

“He comes from a big family,” Roger says of Jionni, to which JWOWW adds, “They have that ‘it takes an army to raise a kid,’ which is true, and that’s a great mentality to have where it doesn’t have to be just Nicole and Jionni. It’s gonna be their family and their friends and their nieces and nephews and cousins and uncles, and I think that’s the best way to be raised.
“Because me and Roger won’t have that, we want to wait,” she continues. “We definitely have a bucket list that we want to complete before having kids.”
And while viewers of the Jersey Shore and its spinoff, Snooki & JWOWW, often questioned what kind of mother the pint-sized guidette will be, JWOWW insists that Snooki will be an “amazing mom.”
“She is going to be a young, hip mom that is going to be like, fashion forward with her kid and you’ll see him on the cover of magazines wearing the cutest outfits,” JWOWW says. “She is going to embrace it so much and I can’t wait for her, because I’m so proud of her.”
Snooki is reportedly due to give birth sometime in September. For now, viewers can watch her pregnancy continue on Snooki & JWOWW, airing Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
