Spike Lee’s Netflix series is rounding out its cast with Barbershop 3 actress Margot Bingham.
The 10-episode Netflix series is based on Lee’s 1986 film about a woman and her three lovers. DeWanda Wise is starring as Darling, the sexually liberated artist at the center of the story, with Cleo Anthony, Anthony Ramos and Lyriq Bent playing her three suitors.
Bingham will star as Clorinda Bradford, a hip emerging curator who aspires to global dominance with each new endeavor. Joie Lee (Spike’s sister) played Clorinda in the original film.
Lee is directing all episodes of the series, which is shooting in New York.
Bingham’s other credits include TV series The Family and Boardwalk Empire. She is repped by UTA and Untitled Management.
