The force is strong with Jimmy Kimmel.
A day after welcoming star Harrison Ford, Jimmy Kimmel Live! will play host to a full-out Star Wars special ahead of the highly anticipated Force Awakens release.
Director J.J. Abrams and stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver and John Boyega will appear on the Nov. 23 telecast less than a month before Force Awakens hits theaters on Dec. 18.

In addition to Ford, Thursday’s show saw Kimmel and the rest of his late-night crew dressed up in their best Star Wars gear for Halloween.
The move is no surprise given that Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs on ABC, which is owned by Disney, which is releasing the new Star Wars films after buying Lucasfilm in 2012. Kimmel has never shied away from a good opportunity for synergy with other ABC/Disney properties. Every Thursday, the show welcomes a different Scandal castmember to capitalize on that ABC show’s ongoing success and loyal fan base.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on ABC.
