Starz’s Ash vs. Evil Dead is adding a very familiar face to its ranks.
Mimi Rogers is set to appear in the upcoming sequel series, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Rogers will play Suzy Maxwell, a woman who is reunited with her family and several uninvited guests after a freak accident. Suzy is the mother of Kelly (series regular Dana DeLorenzo), a moody wild child trying to outrun her past.

Bruce Campbell will reprise his role as the title character Ash, an aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. However, when a Deadite plague threatens to destroy mankind, Ash is forced to face his demons — both personal and literal.
Campbell will also exec produce the series with the original film’s producer, Rob Tapert, the film’s director Sam Raimi, as well as showrunner Craig DiGregorio (Workaholics). Raimi will also direct the first episode that he wrote with DiGregorio, Tom Spezialy (Chuck) and co-exec producer Ivan Raimi (Army of Darkness). Aaron Lam and Chloe Smith (Spartacus) will serve as producers.

The cast also includes Lucy Lawless (Spartacus), Ray Santiago (Meet the Fockers) and Jill Marie Jones (Sleepy Hollow). Ash vs. Evil Dead is currently shooting in New Zealand, and the 10-episode first season is slated to debut in fall 2015.
Rogers has been busy on the small screen in recent months. In addition to a memorable appearance on one of the final episodes of Mad Men, she has recently recurred on NCIS, Two and a Half Men and Bosch.
Rogers is repped by Paradigm and Silver Lining Entertainment.
