The gloves, and the censors, are off when Stephen Colbert heads to Showtime on Nov. 8.
The Late Show host will make the move from broadcast to pay cable next month for a live election night special.
In The Hollywood Reporter’s exclusive look at one of Colbert’s first promos, the late night host promises to be “uncensored” and “maybe nude” for his one-night-only Showtime stint. “Probably hammered,” Colbert adds in the video above.

Like his CBS late-night show, the hourlong special will air from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York with a live studio audience. In addition to breaking down state-by-state results in real time, the special will also include surprise guests and remote segments.
Colbert has gone live several times on Late Show this past year to cover the presidential election, most recently after the third and final debate on Wednesday.
Stephen Colbert’s Live Election Night Democracy’s Series Finale: Who’s Going to Clean Up This Sh*t? will air Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT on Showtime.
