Netflix helped make the Super Bowl a little stranger.
Stranger Things debuted a season two big game spot, with Netflix also revealing the series will return this Halloween. The spot for Stranger Things 2 features Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) in Ghostbusters uniforms as well as plenty of other ’80s callbacks.
Here’s the official description from Netflix: “The World is Turning Upside Down. Stranger Things 2 comes to Netflix Halloween 2017.”
Returning castmembers for the sci-fi drama include Joe Keery (Steve Harrington) and Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), as well as breakout star Millie Bobby Brown (aka Eleven), Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan), Cara Buono (Karen) and Matthew Modine (Dr. Martin Brenner).
Season two newcomers include Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Linnea Berthelsen, Sadie Sink, Dacre Montgomery and Brett Gelman.
