The dream team officially has broken up on Suits.
Following Donna’s decision to leave Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and work for his longtime firm nemesis, Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), the USA drama has cast Aloma Wright (Scrubs) as Harvey’s new secretary, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Wright will play Gretchen Bodinski, a woman unlike any of the other women in Harvey’s life.
“He doesn’t know it at the time, but his approach to finding Donna’s replacement is that he doesn’t want to get into the same situation with Donna’s replacement that he had with Donna,” creator Aaron Korsh previewed to The Hollywood Reporter before the start of season five. “He comes to realize that when he hires the new Donna.”
Wright will make her debut Wednesday in episode two.

Gretchen is described as an experienced legal secretary with more than two decades of experience. Like Donna, she isn’t afraid to tell it like it is, but unlike Donna (Sarah Rafferty), she promises to bring a fresh perspective to the Pearson Specter Litt team.
Previously, Wright appeared in seven seasons of Scrubs as Nurse Laverne Roberts, and she portrays Nurse Maxine on Days of Our Lives. She joins previously announced season five guest-stars John Pyper-Ferguson (The Last Ship), Christina Cole (Casino Royale) and Wendell Pierce (The Wire).
