Supergirl - H 2015
The CWMelissa Benoist has commented on Jeb Bush’s news-making compliment.
The presidential candidate said of the Supergirl star during a Las Vegas event last week, “She looked kinda … she looked pretty hot. I don’t know which channel it’s on, but I’m looking forward to that.”
“I heard about it, but I don’t know!” laughed the CBS actress.
She then simply stated, “I’m glad he’s excited to watch the show.”
Later on in the interview, she commented on a moment in the premiere in which she rejects wearing a sexier costume. “That’s not her and that’s not what’s important about her,” she explained.
Benoist hopes the audience of tonight’s series premiere goes beyond Bush, saying. “I think everyone would be able to take something from it, but I would really love to reach young girls, and to be a good role model for them.”
