Supernatural creator Eric Kripke is on the move.
The writer-executive producer has signed a two-year overall deal with Sony Pictures Television, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Under the pact, Kripke will develop new projects for the studio behind series including Breaking Bad.
With the deal, Kripke moves from his longtime home at Warner Bros. Television, with whom he developed The CW’s Supernatural as well as NBC’s since-canceled Revolution. The prolific producer, who had developed multiple projects under the pact, had been with the studio since 2008.
Kripke joins producers including Vince Gilligan (Better Call Saul), John Eisendrath and Jon Bokenkamp (The Blacklist), Ron Moore (Outlander), Baz Luhrmann and Shawn Ryan, among others, at the studio.
Kripke is repped by WME and Stone Meyer.
