Father-and-son duo R.J. Molinere and Jay Paul Molinere have found tracking a man has a lot more consequences than hunting alligators.
The Swamp People stars turned themselves in to authorities on Friday for allegedly beating a man with a beer bottle, TMZ reports. The Molineres are accused of following a 24-year-old man to a mini mart and using a beer bottle to attack him. The pair apparently had gotten into an argument with the man on a Louisiana highway beforehand.

The victim has a black eye and a swollen forehead and jaw from the incident, which happened in August. The Molineres were booked on aggravated battery charges and released on $1,000 bail.
The father-and-son duo are two of the stars of History’s Swamp People, which completed its fourth season in July. The reality series follows alligators hunters in Louisiana. The elder Molinere is a two-time world champion arm wrestler, according to his History biography, while son Jay Paul is described as his dad’s best friend and his right-hand sharpshooter.
The pair are not the first Swamp People stars to run into legal trouble. In June of 2012, Trapper Joe was arrested for domestic violence.
History and reps for the Molineres did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
