ABC Family has unveiled a new season-three promo for Switched at Birth.
The emotional 30-second teaser debuts exclusively on The Hollywood Reporter, and from the looks of it, senior year of high school won’t be easy for Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Daphne (Katie Leclerc).
“I just feel like everything we’ve had has vanished,” a tearful Daphne says, while Bay declares, “I’m not letting people decide what I get to do anymore.”
STORY: ‘Breaking Bad’ Star R.J. Mitte Joins ‘Switched at Birth’
Quick glimpses of Breaking Bad‘s R.J. Mitte as a pre-med student who bonds with Daphne, Kathryn (Lea Thompson) telling her son Toby (Lucas Grabeel) he is welcome home and a kiss between Emmett (Sean Berdy) and Bay are included in the teaser.
The new spot, making its TV debut Dec. 16, features Five for Fighting’s ballad “What If.”
Switched at Birth returns Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
