A member of the Sons of Anarchy family is heading to Switched at Birth.
William Lucking, who played founding SAMCRO member Piney on the FX biker drama, will guest star in the fifth episode of the ABC Family series’ second season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
He will play the brusque and hard-to-please father of John Kennish (D.W. Moffett) in the drama’s Feb. 4 hour.

Although Lucking’s Piney saw a grisly death at the hands of Clay (Ron Perlman) in season four of Anarchy, it’s safe to assume he won’t be meeting a similar fate on the ABC Family drama.
Repped by Amsel, Eisenstadt & Frazier Talent Agency, Lucking’s credits include the Mark Wahlberg feature Contraband and stints on TV’s The Mentalist, JAG and The West Wing.
Switched at Birth returns Jan. 7.
