‘Terminator,’ ‘Chuck’ top must-save shows poll

E!’s annual “Save One Show” fan poll has its, um, winner: Fox’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles received the most votes from fans when asked what is the one struggling show they’d rescue from being axed. NBC’s Chuck placed second and Fox’s Dollhouse third. Two shows received 0% of the votes — the CW’s Everybody Hates Chris and CBS’ Worst Week. CBS executives trying to decide between keeping Without a Trace or Cold Case won’t get any help here, with both shows pulling 1%. Another E! poll, “Lost Causes We Love,” was led by Kyle XY and Pushing Daisies. 

The final-round results were:

Terminator: 53%
Chuck: 25%
Dollhouse: 10%
Life: 8%
Privileged: 4%

Terminator and Chuck also topped Zap2It’s “Keep It or Kill It” poll.

Obviously titles with youthful online appeal and plenty of fan sitestend to perform strong in such polls. One also has to wonder if expectation comes into play. Terminator is considered all but dead.Chuck is on the bubble. But if the situation were reversed,would Chuck have received the most votes? Dunno…
