AMC does it with The Walking Dead, now TNT is getting in on the game.
As the cable network readies the launches of two scripted dramas, Dallas and returning sci-fi series Falling Skies, it announced Wednesday that it will debut post-episode web shows for both series.
The new 15-minute talk shows, 2nd Watch (following Falling Skies) and Dallas Round-Up (following Dallas), will feature discussions on the week’s episodes, interviews with cast and crew, behind-the-scenes footage, fan questions and trivia.
Cameron Mathison will host Dallas Round-Up, which will launch immediately following the East Coast premiere of Dallas on June 13 at 11 p.m. ET at www.dallastnt.com. The show will air for nine weeks. Guests include Jessica Metcalfe, Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Josh Henderson, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong, Callard Harris, Mitch Pileggi, EP Cynthia Cidre and EP Michael M. Robin.
Wil Wheaton has been set to lead 2nd Watch, which launches June 17 at 11 p.m. ET following the East Coast premiere of Falling Skies at www.fallingskies.com. Guests include Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood, Will Patton, Drew Roy, Maxim Knight, Connor Jessup, Colin Cunningham, Sarah Sanguine Carter, Mpho Koaho and Peter Shinkoda, as well as EPs Remi Aubuchon and Greg Beeman, consulting producer/writer Mark Verheiden and producer/writers Bradley Thompson and David Weddle.
AMC’s Walking Dead talk show Talking Dead, hosted by Chris Hardwick, launched October 2011 and airs following encore presentations of the zombie drama.
