Tom Arnold stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night, where he railed against former The Apprentice producer Mark Burnett over the purported N-word recording and insisted that the so-called “golden shower” tape exists.
Arnold was on ABC to promote his upcoming show, Viceland’s The Hunt for the Trump Tapes, which is set to premiere on Sept. 18. The show will depict Arnold’s attempts to find tapes that Arnold says show Trump expressing bigoted views on the set of his former NBC show The Apprentice.
The Hunt for the Trump Tapes has gained headlines in recent days after former White House staffer and Apprentice star Omarosa Manigault Newman claimed in her book Unhinged, released Tuesday, that Trump used the N-word multiple times on the set of the NBC reality series. Manigault Newman has also released a recording purporting to show two 2016 Trump presidential campaign staffers discussing the alleged tapes.
“He says the N-word, he calls Eric [Trump] the r-word,” Arnold, who was formerly Trump’s friend and has known him for decades, said of the tapes. Arnold claims to have seen them. “There’s two people who have never called me a liar about the N-word tape: Donald Trump and Mark Burnett, because they know it’s true,” Arnold added.
Arnold then said that he’s heard from board members of MGM who are scared about the tapes; MGM Television produced the series.
Arnold proceeded to go on a rambling explanation of how Burnett could “do something” about immigrant children who were separated from their families at the border due to Trump Administration policy.
“Mark Burnett can do something. He does nothing because he’s the best friend of the president. He sits next to him at a prayer breakfast,” Arnold said.
Kimmel, in response, expressed skepticism that Trump has any friends.
“Here’s the truth I’ve known from day one: He’s incompetent. They take that show and they edit it … and Mark Burnett has protected him because they won’t release that tape. If you can see one full day of Donald Trump on that set, you’ll see he’s incompetent, he’s racist, he sexually harasses people,” Arnold continued.
The tapes had to be made, Arnold explained, because the FCC requires any discussion between a producer and member of a reality show be documented, he said.
When Kimmel suggested the show stop for a commercial break, Arnold interjected, “And there’s a pee-pee tape!”, referring to the so-called “golden shower” tape that is rumored to show Trump receiving the sexual act of the same name from prostitutes in a hotel room in Russia.
Later, Arnold said that he found it significant that he was also staying at the Moscow Ritz-Carlton in 2015. “There are so many coincidences, that’s why I have to do this,” he said.
Arnold has called on Burnett to do something about the purported tapes before: At a recent promotional appearance for his new show, Arnold said, “Mark Burnett says he’s a Christian, and he lets that man do all that bullshit, and he let a sexual harasser work on his show.”
