When it comes to mixing business and friendship, is it really all-for-one and one-for-all?
In an exclusive sneak peek of Oxygen’s new docu-series, All The Right Moves, So You Think You Can Dance alumni Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini and renowned dancer Teddy Forance clash over using Wall’s notoriety to sell their budding dance company, Shaping Sound.
“The dancing’s over, but the performance is just beginning,” says Teddy, as the trio prepare to schmooze investors and donors at their show’s after-party. But egos collide when Travis’ agent Paul suggests that the troupe change their name.
“Because it sounds like a music group,” ponders a hopeful Teddy.
“Or they just don’t recognize it,” responds Paul. “They don’t recognize the name.”
His suggestion: call the group Travis Wall’s Shaping Sound.
“But it’s not just Travis Wall’s Shaping Sound,” Nick quickly retorts.
“And I know that you’re super famous,” he adds, “but my biggest fear in this whole thing is that we get lost, and I don’t want that to happen. This is our thing. It’s our baby, the three of us. “
Echoes Teddy: “I’m 100 percent not in for something that I’m not going to be a choreographer and a main person with. I’m not going to be behind anybody anymore. I’ll leave if that happens.”
So what does Travis think about the proposition? Fans will need to tune in to find out. All The Right Moves premieres Tuesday, July 31, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Oxygen.
Viewers may remember Nick and Travis from their turns on So You Think You Can Dance’s first and second seasons, respectively, where Nick took home the crown and Travis finished in second place. The series also stars Kyle Robinson. For more on the guys and to read their bios, click here.
