Trevor Noah is headed to Netflix.
The Daily Show host will premiere his next comedy special on the streaming service, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Trevor Noah: Afraid of the Dark is set to premiere Feb. 21, and marks the eighth standup special for Noah. His last one, Lost in Translation, debuted on Comedy Central in 2015.
The news further solidifies Netflix’s status as a destination for stand-ups. Last week, it was announced that Jerry Seinfeld would bring his comedy, including two new stand-up specials and his Crackle series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, to the streaming giant. The streaming service also shelled out $20 million each for a pair of Chris Rock stand-up specials.
The 32-year-old Noah, who took over for Jon Stewart as the host of Comedy Central’s late-night staple in September 2015, recently released Born a Crime, a memoir about growing up during apartheid in South Africa.
The comedian himself posted about Afraid of the Dark on Instagram on Tuesday.
