Trio of ‘True Blood’ Teasers Feature ‘Echoes of the Past’ (Video)

Extending the “nothing stays buried forever” message of the first graphic tease for the upcoming fifth season, HBO’s True Blood released three new teasers over the weekend called “Echoes of the Past.”

The teasers are set in Eric’s (Alexander Skarsgard) bar, Fangtasia; Bill’s (Stephen Moyer) house; and Sookie’s (Anna Paquin) home. There are no actors, but we do hear them speaking lines we’ve heard in previous seasons and ending with the text, “you can’t escape your past.”

There are all manners of unfinished business in Bon Temps. Aside from the talk that this season will be about zombies, we know:

— the fairies are coming back,

— the Vampire Authority will be descending on the town,

— former vampire king of Mississippi Russell Edgington (Dennis O’Hare) is long due for a return,

— and Patrick (Scott Foley), Terry’s (Todd Lowe) mysterious military buddy, is sticking around.
