Dark comedy Homecoming has found its cast with leads Lauren Bowles (True Blood), Max Ryan (Death Race), Victoria Smurfit (Once Upon A Time), Suleka Mathew (Da Vinci’s Inquest), Kiowa Gordon (Twilight Saga) and Michelle Arthur (Fun with Dick and Jane).
The indie film is the first project under Ted Field’s Radar Pictures overall co-production deal with Paul Kampf, who will direct.
Homecoming centers on a lonely housewife, Joy (Bowles), who is new to a neighborhood with wealthy suburban alpha-moms. She soon falls into their world of backstabbing and botox, and is seduced into sacrificing her family for popularity in a desperate attempt to fit in.
Sarah Hehman and Christi Sperry wrote the script for Homecoming, which will shoot in Portland, Oregon, at the end of the month.
Kampf, Field and Aldo LaPietra are producing while Mike Weber is executive producing, all through Radar Pictures, along with Portland-based Holly Levow.
Kampf, a 25-year vet of the industry, was named partner at Radar Pictures in June.
