CBS’ final returns may change after a NFL preemption in Phoenix is taken into account, but fast affiliate numbers give the network an easy win with a 3.3 rating among adults 18-49 and 13.3 million viewers. The Big Bang Theory led the night with a 4.9 adults rating, down just a tenth of a point from last week, while Two and a Half Men grew two tenths to a 3.7 adults raring. Person of Interest grew by the same measure, to a 3.1 adults rating, and the second episode of Elementary took a half of a point hit. The freshman drama posted a 2.6 rating with 18-49-ers.
On Fox, The X Factor was down a tenth of a point from the previous week with a 3.1 rating among adults 18-49. Glee saw a boost at 9 p.m., however, rising eight percent to a 2.6 rating in the key demo. Fox’s adults average for the night was a 2.9 rating, and the network brought in 7.7 million viewers.
Both Last Resort (1.8 adults rating) and Grey’s Anatomy (3.7 adults rating) saw dips on ABC, falling a respective 18 and 16 percent. Scandal was steady from last week’s premiere. The series had a 2.1 rating with adults 18-49. ABC finished the night with a 2.5 adults rating and 8.4 million viewers.
30 Rock kicked off the first of its final 13 episodes last night with just a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49. Up All Night managed to build on the soft lead, the first time its done so this season, and earned a steady 1.4 adults rating. The Office was also steady with a 2.1 adults rating, while Parks and Rec jumped 19 percent at 9:30 p.m. to a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49. Rock Center saw a three tenths of a point boost to a 1.1 adults rating. giving NBC an average 1.5 rating and 3.5 million people.
A two-hour episode of The Next pulled a 0.3 adults rating and 902,000 viewers for The CW. Univision finished the night with a 1.4 adults rating.
