Summer programming may be nearing its end, but the marquee shows are suffering no lack of steam.
America’s Got Talent, inching up from the prior Tuesday, scored a 2.6 rating among adults 18-49 and 12 million viewers between 8 and 10 o’clock. The robust reality show again aided freshman Better Late Than Never. In its second outing, the docuseries held its premiere score of a 1.6 rating among adults 18-49.
ABC pulled No. 2 status with a flat Bachelor in Paradise (1.4 adults) and a lift for talker After Paradise. The episode, which revealed the identity of the franchise’s next Bachelor, jumped nearly 30 percent to a 0.9 rating in the key demo.
That helped it beat out CBS’ Zoo (0.7 adult) and CW’s MadTV (0.3 adults) during the night’s most crowded hour.
