Tuesday night brought wins for CBS among adults 18-49 (2.7 rating) and total viewers (15.95 million). A steady NCIS (3.0 adults) led all Big Four offerings for the night, in Fast National returns, leading into slightly boosted episodes of NCIS: LA (2.9 adults) and Person of Interest (2.1 adults) — both of which inched up a tenth of a point from last week.
Gearing up for Thursday’s Olympics coverage kickoff and Friday’s opening ceremony, NBC aired special Winter Gold: NBC’s First Look at the Sochi Olympics (1.4 adults). The show led into the season finale of The Biggest Loser (2.2 adults). The competition was up half a point from last week’s episode but down half a point from its recent finale. NBC took a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49 and 6.7 million viewers.

Agents of SHIELD (2.1 adults) came in a tenth of a point shy of its last original on ABC. Comedies The Goldbergs (1.7 adults) and Trophy Wife (1.0 adults) improved a respective two-tenths and one-tenth of a point before Killer Women (0.7 adults) matched its most recent low. ABC averaged a 1.4 rating in the key demo and 4.6 million viewers over the three-hour block.
Fox’s rejiggered Tuesday block did not see any boost from Sunday’s massive post-Super Bowl sampling. After an even outing for Dads (1.5 adults), New Girl (1.6 adults) fell three-tenths of a point from its episode two weeks ago. Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which saw a smaller Super Bowl haul than New Girl, was also down half a point from its last Tuesday outing for a 1.5 rating. Fox tied ABC’s 1.4 rating with adults 18-49 and brought in 3.4 million viewers.
The Originals (0.8 adults) shed two-tenths of a point from last week, and Supernatural (1.1 adults) was down a tenth. The CW averaged a 0.9 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.3 million viewers.
