TV Ratings: ‘Blacklist’ and ‘Sleepy Hollow’ Hold, ‘We Are Men’ Underwhelms

NBC put another Monday victory under its belt last night, with Fast National returns giving the network an easy ratings win with dominant episodes of The Voice and The Blacklist.

The Voice, averaging a 4.6 rating with adults 18-49, was down half a point from last week’s season premiere. At 10 p.m., the freshman drama’s second episode averaged a 3.6 rating among adults 18-49, outperforming all other scripted offerings for the night. It was off two-tenths of a point from last week’s premiere, though Voice overage could see its final number shrink a bit more. NBC took a 4.3 adults rating and 13.5 million viewers for the night.

On Fox, Sleepy Hollow (3.0 adults) held strong in its third episode, continuing its retention streak by only shedding a tenth of a point from last week. Lead-in Bones (2.2 adults) improved in the demo, up three-tenths of a point from last week. The network averaged a 2.6 rating with adults 18-49 and 7.5 million viewers.

Dancing With the Stars (2.0 adults) fell three-tenths of a point from last week, while Castle (2.2 adults) held steady at 10 p.m. ABC averaged a 2.1 adults rating and 12.2 million viewers for the night.

CBS saw an inauspicious start for We Are Men. The comedy launched with a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49, shedding more than a point from its How I Met Your Mother lead-in (3.1 adults). That puts it lower than last year’s time slot opener, Partners (2.4 adults), but with similar retention. HIMYM opened the night down six-tenths of a point from last week’s one-hour premiere. 2 Broke Girls (2.4 adults) and Mom (2.2 adults) were down a respective four- and three-tenths of a point.

Hostages slipped three-tenths of a point from its modest premiere, pulling a 1.5 rating with adults 18-49. The network averaged a 2.1 adults rating and 6.8 million viewers for the night.

The iHeartRadio Music Festival scored a 0.4 and 1.05 million viewers on The CW, down two-tenths of a point from last year.
