Likely a sign of things to come this Thanksgiving week, several series posted drops from their most recent episodes on Monday night.
The drops started with The Voice, down four-tenths of a point in the key demo to a 2.6 rating among adults 18-49 on NBC. That was still enough to make it the top broadcast outing of the night, though not by as wide of a margin as it’s accustomed to.
Blindspot wrapped the particularly strong first stretch of its freshman season on a slightly lower note. The drama’s fall finale pulled a 1.9 rating in the key demo, off two-tenths of a point from last week. That number certainly will climb. The most recent live-plus-7 ratings for Blindspot have it jumping 82 percent.
ABC likely saw some inflated numbers, thanks to NFL pre-emptions for the New England-Buffalo game. Still, Dancing With the Stars easily will end up on much stronger ground, compared to last week, with the first part of its season finale — as preliminary numbers are up a whopping 30 percent.
Supergirl‘s stint of same-day stability ended on Monday, with the new drama dropping three-tenths of a point in the key demo to a 1.5 rating. Elsewhere on CBS, both Scorpion (1.7 adults) and NCIS: Los Angeles (1.2 adults) held.
Fox had a new (and steady) episode of Gotham. It averaged a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49. And, on The CW, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (0.3 adults) and Jane the Virgin (0.4 adults) were also steady. (On Monday afternoon, The CW committed to more episodes of Crazy-Ex, bringing its freshman total to 18.)
