The Thursday reality pile-on got even busier last night, with the addition of ABC’s Battle of the Network Stars and another night of CBS’ Big Brother.
CBS won the night on the power of Big Brother, averaging a 1.6 rating among adults 18-49 during its one-hour outing. At 10 p.m., the network brought back Zoo for its third season. The premiere fell to a low 0.5 rating in the key demo.
Zoo was not the only Big Four show to go so low on Thursday night. The second episode of ABC’s Boy Band took a steep slip from its already middling premiere, coming in with just a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49. Battle of the Network Stars doubled that score in its debut, opening to a solid 1.0 demo 18-49 and 4 million viewers. It was followed by a steady Gong Show (0.9 adults).
NBC saw its trio of Hollywood Game Night (0.9 adults), The Wall (1.0 adults) and The Night Shift (0.7 adults) all in line with last week’s scores. And, on Fox, Beat Shazam earned a steady 0.9 rating among adults 18-49 before Love Connection slipped to a 0.7 rating.
Thursday marked the second consecutive nightly win for CBS.
