The Voice was top dog on Monday night, improving 8 percent from last week’s comparable episode. With an average 4.0 rating among adults 18-49, The Voice topped the night in the key demo — though it fell shy of a returned Dancing With the Stars in the total viewers race.
With a new episode of The Blacklist, up a tenth to a 2.8 adults rating, NBC won the night with an average 3.6 rating among adults 18-49 and 12.6 million viewers.
ABC took the race for second place in the demo (2.2 rating), though it edged out NBC in total viewers (13.3 million). The latest cycle of Dancing With the Stars (2.5 adults) was off a steep six-tenths of a point from the fall and seven-tenths from last spring — though it wasn’t going against The Voice on either occasion. Castle (1.8 adults) improved two-tenths with its new lead-in.
How I Met Your Mother (2.9 adults) was up two-tenths from last week, while 2 Broke Girls (2.1 adults) fell half a point for a series low. Mike & Molly (1.8 adults) matched last week, while Mom (1.8 adults) and Intelligence (1.1 adults) both fell two-tenths. CBS took a 1.8 rating in the demo and 6.7 million viewers.
Bones (1.4 adults) fell three-tenths from last week’s time slot reintroduction, and The Following (1.4 adults) was down a tenth for a series low. Fox averaged a 1.4 rating in the demo and 4.8 million viewers.
Star-Crossed (0.3 adults) matched last week’s rating on The CW, and The Tomorrow People (0.4 adults) held even in its move to the new time slot. The CW took a 0.4 rating with adults 18-49 and 1.1 million viewers.
