NCAA basketball prompted delays in much of the country for CBS’ lineup, leaving its Fast National ratings tentative, but as it stands, the overrun (3.9 rating among adults 18-49) helped drive a Sunday win for the network.
With the lead-in, 60 Minutes (2.6 adults) improved by nearly a full point from last week. The Amazing Race (1.8 adults) held even leading into a boosted Good Wife (1.5 adults). The drama inched up two-tenths of a point with well-publicized episode that included an 11th hour twist. The Mentalist (1.2 adults) dropped a tenth of a point, giving CBS a 2.1 rating with adults 18-49 and 10.3 million viewers for the night.

ABC fell to second place against basketball, albeit with a softer showing than the last two weeks. Freshman drama Resurrection (2.5 adults) fell six-tenths of a point in its third outing. On either side, Once Upon a Time (2.0 adults) and Revenge (1.6 adults) were both down — a respective four-tenths and one-tenth of a point — and America’s Funniest Home Videos (1.3 adults) dropped two-tenths. ABC took a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49 and 7.1 million viewers.
Bob’s Burgers (1.2 adults) improved a tenth of a point on Fox, while American Dad (1.3 adults) and Family Guy (2.2 adults) both fell by the same measure on Fox. The Simpsons (1.9 adults) held even, and Cosmos (1.7 adults) dropped three-tenths of a point. Fox averaged a 1.7 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers.
Over on NBC, the premiere of American Dream Builders (0.9 adults) was a bit of a non-starter. Dramas Believe (1.2 adults) and Crisis (1.3 adults) also fell by three-tenths of a point from their Sunday debuts last week. The network averaged a 1.0 rating with adults 18-49 and 4.3 million viewers.
