Nearly all Tuesday series improved after last week’s big competition from Game 6 of the World Series.
Most notably, This Is Us surged 25 percent to reclaim its dominance in the key demo. The drama averaged a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49, easily winning the night. NBC also saw improvement for The Menendez Murders (0.9 adults) — though The Voice was unmoved, earning another 1.9 rating in the key demo.
CBS’ trio of dramas, NCIS (1.5 adults), Bull (1.2 adults) and NCIS: New Orleans (1.0 adults) were all lifted, as were ABC comedies The Middle (1.3 adults), Fresh Off the Boat (1.0 adults), Black-ish (1.1 adults) and The Mayor (0.8 adults — though by much smaller measures. Drama Kevin (Probably) Saves the World earned another 0.7 rating among adults 18-49.
On Fox, Lethal Weapon led the night with a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49. The Mick (0.7 adults) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (0.6 adults) followed.
The Flash was much improved on The CW, rising to a 0.9 rating in the key demo before Legends of Tomorrow (0.5 adults).
