The Voice may have been slightly humbled in its Wednesday move, but it certainly lifted its lead-outs. After the NBC singing competition fetched a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49 at 8 p.m., both Law & Order: SVU (2.4 adults) and Chicago P.D. (2.2 adults) skyrocketed by eight-tenths of a point. The two Dick Wolf dramas aired parts of a crossover storyline that launched with Tuesday’s Chicago Fire.
Both The Middle (1.9 adults) and The Goldbergs (2.1 adults) were steady on ABC, while Modern Family (3.1 adults) dropped four-tenths of a point from the previous outing. (It still topped all broadcast series for the night.) Black-ish (2.5 adults) lost two-tenths of a point in front of a steady Nashville (1.4 adults).
CBS saw improvement for Criminal Minds, up two-tenths of a point for a 2.3 rating in the key demo, sandwiched between steady episodes of Survivor (2.3 adults) and Stalker (1.4 adults).
On Fox, Hell’s Kitchen (1.5 adults) rose three-tenths of a point ahead of a steady Red Band Society (0.9 adults). And on The CW, Arrow (0.9 adults) dropped two-tenths of a point from last week — while The 100 (0.6 adults) held steady.
