CBS edged out ABC on Sunday night, thanks in large part to NCAA basketball overrun — which also mean the network’s fast affiliate ratings are subject to change.
With March Madness bleeding into 60 Minutes, the 7 p.m. hour kicked off with a 2.9 among adults 18-49 and 12 million viewers. The Amazing Race brought in a 2.7, followed by The Good Wife (1.9) and CSI: Miami (2.0). CBS averaged a 2.3 in the demo with 10.2 million viewers.

ABC was just behind with a 2.2 rating among adults 18-49 and 7.5 million viewers. America’s Funniest Home Videos was down to a 1.2 in the demo, with Once Upon a Time also down, hitting a series low of a 2.8. Desperate Housewives was even with a 2.6 18-49 rating, and GCB was up 10 percent for a 2.2 in the demo.
Half of Fox’s Sunday lineup was in repeats, prompting slightly softer performances for Bob’s Burgers at 8:30 and American Dad at 9:30, both down to a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49. The Cleveland Show also was new, holding steady at a 1.5 in the demo. Fox averaged a 1.7 rating for the night with 3.7 million viewers.
NBC finished last with a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers. Dateline was down 9 percent to a 1.0 in the demo, while Harry’s Law took the biggest hit, dropping 20 percent for a new series low of 0.8. The Celebrity Apprentice was flat with last week’s season low of a 1.8.
