Coverage of the 2012 NCAA basketball tournament bled into CBS last night, prompting altered fast affiliate ratings. The numbers are subject to change, but as it stands, the network edged out ABC for a win among adults 18-49.
CBS scored a 2.3 rating in the demo with 9.7 million viewers. Individual scores will alter when time zone adjusted numbers come in, but that should only concern CSI: Miami, the network’s only Sunday series not yet renewed.

Once Upon a Time, even at a 2.9 among adults 18-49, led the way for ABC. The network pulled a 2.2 in the demo and 7.5 million viewers, with Desperate Housewives down just a tenth of a point for a 2.5 and GCB faltering a bit in week three for a low of a 2.0 in the demo. America’s Funniest Home Videos kicked off the lineup with a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating.
Fox averaged a 2.0 rating among adults with 4.3 million viewers. The Cleveland Show dropped a tenth of a point for a 1.5 in 18-49-ers, while The Simpsons and Bob’s Burgers improved over last week for a 2.4 and 2.1 respectively. Family Guy and American Dad were steady at 2.8 and 2.2 in the demo since their last broadcasts.
Though Harry’s Law remains weak at a 1.1 in adults 18-49, it is steady with its last broadcast. Celebrity Apprentice, however, dropped two tenths for a new season low of a 1.8 in the demo. Led by Dateline‘s 1.1, the network brought in a 1.4 in adults and 6.4 million viewers for the night.
