CBS scored a particularly robust Wednesday night, thanks to two hours of Survivor. The rest of the broadcast lineup didn’t look so hot.
The reality competition beat the rest of the broadcast schedule by all measures, pulling a steady 1.8 rating among adults 18-49 at the top of primetime and then fetching a 1.6 rating in the key demo during its second hour. SEAL Team was not quite as robust, dipping to a 0.8 rating in the key demo at 10 o’clock.
NBC saw dips of its own with The Blacklist (0.9 adults) and Law & Order: SVU (1.1 adults) before a stable Chicago P.D. (1.2 adults) — though no drops were as bad as the ones on ABC. Both The Goldbergs and Modern Family slipped to a shared 1.3 rating among adults 18-49. A half-point drop for Modern Family easily marked a series low for the flagship comedy. Drama Designated Survivor was also at a low, earning a 0.6 rating.
Fox also had dips with The X-Files (0.8 adults) and 911 (1.5 adults), each down two-tenths of a point.
