ABC no doubt has fingers crossed for a Cleveland Cavaliers victory on Tuesday night to guarantee a Game 7. With the Golden State Warriors now leading the 3-2, the 2015 NBA Finals continue to be the highest-rated in network history.
The fifth game again surged to decade highs, rising 21 percent from last year for a 13.2 overnight rating. Based on recent showings, final scores on Monday afternoon will likely bring an audience near 20 million viewers.
ABC will also easily win the 18-49 demo, and competition was slim. On the rest of the Big Four, all were steady. With Dateline (0.9 adults), A.D.: The Bible Continues (0.7 adults) and American Odyssey (0.5 adults) on NBC and Golan the Insatiable (0.6 adults) on Fox.
