Though both are down two-tenths of a point in Nielsen’s Fast National returns, NBC’s pairing of America’s Got Talent and Hollywood Game Night easily led Tuesday night.
Talent topped all of broadcast with a 2.1 rating among adults 18-49, while Game Night netted a 1.1 rating in the key demo. That tied it with CBS’ Zoo, steady with a 1.1 rating in the key demo, for second-place status on the Big Four.
As the summer doldrums reach their middling climax, the night’s only other original offerings were steady episodes of Extreme Weight Loss (0.6 adults) on ABC and Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader (0.5 adults) on Fox.
Wednesday night at least brings some new blood. NBC will air the first two episodes of The Carmichael Show, part of its three-week, six-episode freshman run.
