CBS took home another Wednesday night in the key adults 18-to-49 demographic (2.7 rating) and total viewers (16.96 million). The network started the night with an especially strong NCIS, rising three-tenths of a point to a 3.8 in the demo. The episode also was up in total viewers, pulling in its second-largest audience ever with 22.3 million. NCIS LA (2.7) was off 10 percent compared with last week, while Vegas (1.6) was steady with its most recent showing.
Back-to-back episodes of Betty White’s Off Their Rockers pulled a 1.4 and 1.8 during the 8 p.m. hour. They were down seven percent and five percent from the previous week. Go On (1.7) rose 13 percent from the previous week, followed by steady episodes of The New Normal (1.3) and Parenthood (1.9). NBC averaged a 1.7 rating and 4.8 million viewers.
Fox averaged a 1.5 demo rating and 3.1 million viewers with new episodes from its Tuesday comedy block. Raising Hope (1.6), Ben and Kate (1.1) and New Girl (1.9) were off a tenth of a point from last week’s episodes, while The Mindy Project (1.5) was steady with its recent showing.
Encores of Modern Family and Suburgatory led into new outings of Happy Endings (1.3) and Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23 (1.1). Happy Endings was off a tenth of a point from last week, and Apt. 23 was steady. Private Practice (1.2) added a tenth of a point from last week, giving the network an average 1.2 rating and 3.7 million viewers for the night.
A steady Hart of Dixie (0.6) returned to The CW after its winter hiatus, and Emily Owens, M.D. (0.3) was flat compared with last week. The network averaged a 0.4 rating and 1.2 million viewers.
Univision averaged a 1.7 rating and 4.1 million viewers.
