Down, but not out, American Ninja Warrior won Monday night for NBC with a 1.8 rating among adults 18-49. The series slipped three-tenths of a point from the previous week but still managed to top all other broadcast fare for the night.
Running Wild With Bear Grylls also managed to pull a robust 1.3 rating in the key demo, despite being an encore.
Bachelor in Paradise held last week’s 1.5 rating among adults 18-49 on ABC, with lead-out talker After Paradise netting a 0.8 rating. The Whispers, albeit mostly steady with last week, still managed a series low 0.5 adults rating in its live-plus-same-day showing. That doesn’t bode particularly well for the yet-to-be-renewed summer drama, which saw its cast’s options expire weeks ago.
Fox saw another even outing of So You Think You Can Dance (0.9 adults), and The CW saw some traction for comedy Significant Mother (0.4 adults) — which grew two-tenths of a point from last week following steady episodes of the recently renewed Penn & Teller (0.7 adults) and Whose Line Is It Anyway? (0.6 adults).
