A soft America’s Funniest Home Videos kicked off an otherwise solid Sunday for ABC. The network topped other broadcast nets among adults 18-49, averaging a 2.2 rating in the demo and 7.4 million viewers, according to fast affiliate ratings. Once Upon a Time was down a tenth of a point from last week, pulling a 2.9 rating with 18-49-ers, while Desperate Housewives and GCB returned from last week’s absence with a 2.5 and 1.9 rating, respectively. For GCB, it marked a 27 percent uptick in the demo.
Fox followed last week’s anniversary broadcast with an almost all-original animation lineup, scoring Sunday’s second place finish in the demo with a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49 and 4.1 million viewers. Following a repeat of The Simpsons, The Cleveland Show had a 25 percent boost with the demo for a 1.5 rating and a new Simpsons matched its last original’s 2.3 rating. Bob’s Burgers was also even, posting a 1.9 rating with 18-49-ers, followed by a resurgent Family Guy and a 2.8 in the demo. A second episode of The Cleveland Show ended the night, down just one tenth from American Dad‘s most recent showing in the time slot.
On CBS, 60 Minutes took a steep drop, falling to a 1.2 rating among adults 18-49. Amazing Race was also down with a 2.2 rating, as was The Good Wife. The drama dropped 11 percent in its season finale, posting a 1.7 rating among adults 18-49. NYC 22, three weeks into its run, only managed to pull a 1.2 rating in the demo. The net averaged a 1.6 rating with 18-49-ers for the night and a dominant 8.9 million viewers.
Dateline pulled just a 0.8 rating among adults 18-49 on NBC, while Harry’s Law was steady with a 0.9 in the demo. Celebrity Apprentice, growing every half hour of its two-hour broadcast, averaged a 1.9 in the demo. NBC pulled a 1.4 in the demo and 5.8 million viewers for the night.
