Parks and Recreation went out on a high note for NBC on Tuesday night. Though it may not have been particularly high in comparison to the night’s bigger offerings, it did climb 45 percent in the key demo of adults 18-49, nabbing a 1.6 rating, and posted its most-watched episode since 2011 with 4.2 million viewers. Parks may never have been a ratings juggernaut, but it was a steady comedy when most networks (especially NBC) have struggled with the half-hour.
It followed the Tuesday return of The Voice, off three-tenths of a point from Monday’s season premiere with a 3.8 rating in the key demo. It also nabbed 13.8 million viewers over the course of the two-hour broadcast.

Off two-tenths of a point from last week, NCIS led the night’s scripted offerings with a 2.4 rating in the key demo. NCIS: New Orleans (2.0 adults) held even, with Person of Interest (1.7 adults) also steady.
Fresh Off the Boat is proving to be ABC’s unlikely Tuesday hero. After three weeks in the comedy death slot, it’s steady with a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49 — and the network’s highest-rated show of the night. It’s also still Tuesday’s highest-rated comedy. Repeat After Me (1.3 adults) was steady with last week’s premiere, and Agent Carter (1.3 adults) signed off in line with its performances the last several weeks. Forever (1.0 adults) also held with its latest new outing.
Fox’s block of MasterChef Junior (1.6 adults), New Girl (1.4 adults) and The Mindy Project (1.1 adults) were all steady with last week’s showings.
