The battle of the network reality shows resulted in positive news for ABC and some disapointment for NBC.
ABC’s Dancing With the Stars took an average of 9.2 million viewers in its two hours, from 8-10:00 pm, including a 2.2 million demo share, up five percent. Castle, the Nathan Fillion-starring mystery show, averaged seven million in the 10-11:00 pm slot, with a 2.1 share, up 11 percent. The network did have NFL preemptions in Kansas City and Pittsburgh, so final ratings are subject to adjustment.

The Voice, which was airing its first semi-final, notched a demo victory but dropped to a 4.3 demo share, which was down four percent. The network’s 10pm show, JJ Abram’s post-apocalyptic Revolution, fell to a series low, at 2.6, down seven percent from a 2.8 mark last week.
CBS kept chugging along, with gains for How I Met Your Mother (a 3.0, up seven percent), which Mike and Molly matched, representing a seven percent rise. Hawaii Five-O was even, but Partners fell a drastic 14 percent to 1.8 in the demo.
FOX saw slight falls, with Bones down a tenth of a point to 1.9, representing a five percent fall, and The Mob Doctor slipping ten percent to a .9
