With the football barely visible in the rear-view mirror and last week’s record-breaking Grammys out of the way, the Sunday lineup lacked any destination programming last night, making room for a very tight race between the big four.
Overrun of golf’s Northern Trust Open led into the dominant CBS line-up, which gave the network a 2.2 among adults 18-49 and 10.5 million viewers for the night. 60 Minutes earned a 1.8 in the demo, followed by the season premiere of The Amazing Race (up 4 percent from last February’s premiere for a 2.7), The Good Wife (2.2) and CSI: Miami (2.1).

ABC and NBC tied in the demo, each earning a 2.1 among 18-49-ers, but ABC had the night’s strongest performer of any network, Once Upon a Time. The freshman drama continued to prove itself the net’s new Sunday flagship, pulling a 3.0 rating among adults at the 8:00 p.m. hour. Desperate Housewives rebounded from the previous week’s series low, earning a 2.2 in the demo, followed by an also resurgent (if still anemic) Pan Am at a 1.2.
NBC had two hours of The Voice repeats led into the two-hour season premiere of Celebrity Apprentice. The series topped the competition in adults 18-49 throughout the broadcast, averaging a 2.6 in the demo and jumping from a 2.5 to a 2.8, hour over hour.

On Fox, the net saw improvements over last week’s Grammy-induced lows. The Simpsons added 30 percent to its previous score, earning a 2.6 in adults 18-49, but still couldn’t outpace Family Guy‘s dominant 2.7 in the demo. The Cleveland Show (1.2), Napoleon Dynamite (2.0), American Dad (2.2) and a repeat of Bob’s Burgers also aired, giving the net a 1.9 rating in adults 18-49 for the night.
