TV Ratings: ‘The Voice’ and ‘Bachelor’ Square Off, ‘Taken’ Dips in Week 2

NBC scored another nightly win Monday, though with a less dramatic advantage than last week.

The network topped the first two hours of primetime with The Voice, before settling for second place at 10 p.m. with Taken. Compared to last week’s episodes, both shows were down double digits in the targeted demo of adults 18-49. The Voice earned a 2.7 rating in the group, narrowing its lead over The Bachelor, while Taken dipped to a 1.3 rating. The latter, NBC’s latest drama to get the choice lead-in, was off three-tenths of a point from its premiere. 

Since all CBS series but Superior Donuts were repeats, NBC also easily nabbed the viewership crown for the night.

As for ABC, The Bachelor had a more modest dip from last week with another one-hour outing. It averaged a 2.2 rating among adults 18-49. Two-hour The Women Tell All special averaged a 1.8 rating.

Fox had steady outings of both 24: Legacy (0.9 adults) and APB (0.8 adults). And on the CW, a new Supergirl fetched a 0.7 rating among adults 18-49.
