Despite the lack of scripted competition, most series were down on Monday night, including top performers The Voice and Dancing With the Stars.
NBC took a 4 percent hit with The Voice, which pulled in a 4.4 rating among adults 18-49. Its demo showing easily topped ABC’s two-hour broadcast of Dancing With the Stars but saw total viewership down by nearly 6 million. Smash was steady with the previous week, pulling a 2.2 among adults 18-49. The net averaged a 3.7 demo rating and 10 million viewers.
