After a jam-packed week that saw the broadcast networks tout new series they hope will rake in ad dollars, the 2017 upfronts have come to a close.
The four-day shindig saw NBC, Fox, ABC, CBS and The CW drum up buzz for their new fall lineups and peddle their top talent to advertisers in New York. Some 40 new shows will compete for eyeballs this fall, hoping to become the breakout This Is Us was for NBC last year.
Emerging as a major trend this time around was ownership as the Big Four bought almost exclusively from their sibling studios. The trend is also a likely factor into why CBS canceled 2 Broke Girls and ABC axed Last Man Standing.
From the schedules and trailers to the executive press calls and presentation takeaways, The Hollywood Reporter has a look back at the week that was in one handy guide.
Also check out more of THR‘s upfronts analysis with our renewal and cancellation scorecard, full broadcast schedule, studio scorecard, network by the numbers breakdown, time slot battles, mega-producers list and the five biggest narratives from the week. You can also find everything here.
