Things are taking a very sentimental turn in what has been a heated feud between Charlie Sheen and the producers of Two and a Half Men for the past several months. The young actor who represents the series’ “half” recently spoke out about Sheen’s replacement.

“For sure I miss Charlie,” Angus T. Jones, who plays Jake, tells E!Online. “I talk to him every now and then. I still want to hang out with him and stuff. We’re still friends. There’s no hard feelings at all.”
The series began shooting again last week after Sheen was fired last March with new cast member Ashton Kutcher. He plays an Internet billionaire named Walden Schmidt who is unrelated to Alan (Jon Cryer) and Angus’ character. How Walden enters their world has not been revealed.
“It was seamless,” says Jones, 17. “It’s more or less the same. It’s just Ashton’s there instead of Charlie.”
The new season premieres Sept. 19 on CBS with the funeral of Sheen’s character, Charlie. Sheen will be the target of a Comedy Central roast set to air the same night. He’s also developing a new sitcom, Anger Management.
